The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Department has added the twinning of Highway 3 in Southern Alberta to its Top Five Infrastructure Policy Positions.

The AMTA mourns the loss of June Drinnan on Nov. 23, 2019. June was the wife of Bob Drinnan, AMTA General Manager beginning 1967. Bob was an instrumental figure in making the Association what it is today.

MELT ensures that all commercial vehicle drivers receive a minimum standard of training. MELT has not been implemented as a hardship on businesses, but instead to provide increased roadway safety.
