AMTA Injury & Reduction Training seeking committee members

The AMTA Injury Reduction and Training Department has an Advisory Council opening for one member of industry code 50714 (general trucking), three seats for 50701 (special hauling) and four seats for 57901 (garbage hauling).

The purpose of the IRT Advisory Council is to add value to the AMTA’s IRT training programs through carrier member advocacy and representation. Advisory members are volunteers who work cooperatively with the academic program and administration in an effort to share knowledge of career-related tasks and to advise the AMTA on public and administrative initiatives that serve the cause of decreasing harm to drivers and the motoring public.

The sub-committees of Designations and Academics are also seeking members.

If you, or someone you know is interested in joining, send a written statement to either IRT Director Erik Sherman, or IRT Administrator Sarina Rai.
