Alberta Government: COVID-19 related Pre-Qualification Requests (PQR – Standing Offers)
Below is PQR related to the transportation of individuals requiring isolation due to COVID-19:
TRANSPORTATION:
Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) has issued specific orders regarding COVID-19 (CMOH Orders). These CMOH Orders detail the restrictions and prohibitions necessary to protect Albertans and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Specifically, CMOH Order 05-2020 requires certain individuals to isolate or quarantine at home. For various reasons, certain individuals are unable to isolate or quarantine at home and are unable to transport themselves to Commercial Accommodation in which they may isolate or quarantine. Therefore, it has become necessary to establish a Standing Offer List for transportation of Approved Individuals to and from Commercial Accommodation in which they may isolate or quarantine as required.
The purpose of this PQR process is to identify Pre-Qualified Contractors with the ability to provide passenger transportation services with set rates across Alberta for Approved Individuals to and from Commercial Accommodation. Pre-Qualified Contractors will enter into Master Agreements for the provision of passenger transportation services and these Master Agreements will be valid up to December 31, 2020.
