WCB seminars coming to Red Deer

The WCB is presenting an employer information, return to work in rural areas and employer appeal seminar in Red Deer on April 6 and Oct. 5.

The full-day seminar covers the fundamentals of the workers’ compensation system as well as the legislative requirements and best practices for a successful disability management program.

Attendees will learn the definition of a worker under the Workers’ Compensation Act, subcontractor liabilities, the relationship between claim costs and premiums and more.
