Results: Alberta Inspectors Challenge

The 2021 Alberta Inspectors Challenge has concluded.

This year’s event was held at the Atmore Vehicle Inspection Station. The event usually takes place in conjunction with the AMTA Professional Truck Driving Championship (PTDC), however with restrictions surrounding public gatherings, PTDC 2021 was cancelled and the inspectors event moved to a smaller venue.

High Point Vehicle Inspection – Sheriff Travis House (Lac La Biche District)

 High Point Motorcoach Inspection – Sergeant Darren Thompson (Calgary District)

 High Point Dangerous Goods – Sheriff Travis House (Lac La Biche District)

High Point Driver Inspection – Logan Rudzcki (Red Deer District)

Runner Up – Sheriff Alex Andres (Whitecourt District)

 Grand Champion – Sheriff Travis House (Lac La Biche District)

The Award of Excellence is voted on by all the contestants and judges for the inspector they feel best exemplifies the following qualities: spirit of co-operation, leadership, professional image, positive attitude, organizational ability.

 The AIC relies on the support of the commercial transport industry to provide the vehicles utilized during the competition and without their support the competition would not be a feasible.  This year the AIC was held at the Atmore Vehicle Inspection Station and local companies stepped up to the plate to provide vehicles for the competition.  These companies include:
