City of Edmonton launching zoning discussion papers

The City of Edmonton is launching 12 discussion papers exploring the city’s aspects of zoning and Zoning Bylaw.

The papers will be posted here at Engaged Edmonton starting July 13, and each following month four more papers will be released with instructions and opportunities to provide feedback.

The Zoning Bylaw Renewal is an overhaul of Edmonton’s current bylaw including how the City regulates zoning and land development. In a letter to stakeholders, the City said it will develop a “strategic, simplified and streamlined zoning bylaw to enable people, places and businesses to thrive and prosper.”
