Stahl Peterbilt in midst of 14th annual Toy Drive

November 12th marked the kick off of Stahl Peterbilt’s 14th Annual Toy Drive in support of the Salvation Army. Every year, “Santa’s Glider” is decorated in our showroom and packed full of toys ready to be delivered to the children of families most in need during the holiday season.

The annual Toy Drive has grown exponentially since its conception in 2006 from 600 toys to a staggering 1,600 toys in 2019 thanks to the generosity of employees, customers and vendors alike. This year the need is greater than ever, as many families throughout Alberta will have found themselves in tougher times due to the pandemic.

The Salvation Army is an organization that dates back more than 135 years in Canada and gives hope and support to vulnerable people and families in 400 communities across Canada. Partnering with The Salvation Army means the toys will stay directly in the communities we serve.

If you would like to give to this year’s Toy Drive, simply bring along either a monetary donation to put towards the purchase of toys, or a new, unwrapped toy, craft or teen gift to any of our three Stahl Peterbilt locations; Edmonton Main, Grande Prairie or Fort McMurray. Donations are being accepted until December 9th.
