#PPE4Trucker locations in Alberta

Commercial drivers traveling through Alberta, can access free PPE kits at the following Vehicle Inspection Stations:

Leduc

Balzac

Atmore

Slave Lake

*Note: The bins are located where inspections take place, not the drive-thru lane.

On June 3 a team of industry partners, sponsors and volunteers safely gathered at the Calgary Stampede Grandstand to assemble personal protective equipment (PPE) kits for truck drivers.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, fleets have reported issues accessing enough PPE for drivers. Through combined efforts and the generosity of BMO, Women in Supply Chain, UFA, The Gear Centre and others, non-surgical masks and gloves were procured and the organizing team was overtly diligent in preparing to follow all social distancing and sanitation guidelines. Also included in the kits is an insert with a “thank you” to commercial drivers and some tips on proper use of PPE.
