June 2023 Driver of the Month: Vern Roy, Mustang Freightways

Vern Roy has been an outstanding driver for Mustang Freightways since he first joined us in 2002 in Edmonton, AB. Initially working as an owner operator with us, he later transitioned to a company driver in 2018. He is currently based out of our Acheson, AB terminal.

Vern is a team player with many years of experience and a great safety record. He is an extremely reliable, hard working, and versatile employee and a very important member of the Mustang team.

Vern‘s primary role with Mustang is working as a local P&D driver doing pickups and deliveries with van trailers in and around the Edmonton area. He is always willing to mentor new drivers, assist with shunting in the yard, cover as a backup flat deck driver, or even cover short haul LCV runs.

His skill, knowledge, and great attitude make him one of the best drivers in our company and we believe one of the safest drivers on the road. We sincerely appreciate all of his hard work and dedication to safety.
