CTA rolls out ‘Dispatches’ podcast

Expanding on its extensive suite of communication platforms, the Canadian Trucking Alliance has rolled out its ‘Dispatches’ podcast, available on iTunes and Soundcloud.

Hosted by CTA VP of Communications Marco Beghetto, the Dispatches podcast is an engaging roundtable talk featuring insight and expertise from CTA’s senior managers – president Stephen Laskowski; senior VP Geoff Wood; Jonathan Blackham, director, Policy & Public Affairs; and Lak Shoan, director, Policy & Industry Awareness – on all the latest issues and events affecting the trucking industry.

The inaugural episode provides a behind-the-scenes look at how CTA sprung to action in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak and the immediate policy ramifications affecting the border, labour rules and market conditions, among other impacts.

Going forward on the weekly podcast, CTA staff will continue to cover all the pressing national issues concerning the trucking industry and supply chain, from the uncertain fallout of COVID-19 to public & government relations; policy, rules & regs, and market conditions. Periodically, the podcast will also feature one-on-one interviews with some of the Canadian trucking industry’s business leaders and pioneers.

Podcasts are perfect for listening to while commuting or travelling; relaxing at home in the evening or listening passively in the background on your CPU while at the office.

Listen and subscribe on itunes or Soundcloud.

Contact Marco.beghetto@cantruck.ca with any questions about accessing the podcast.
