Coming Fall 2018!

The Alberta Motor Transport Association is constructing a new training facility, office building and five-acre track at the Edmonton International Airport (EIA).

“Having outgrown our current Edmonton office, we’re pleased to announce, with EIA, the development of this project,” says AMTA President Lorraine Card. “We saw the need for a driver training track in a safe, controlled environment and are looking forward to providing the transportation industry with a world class facility.”

The nearly 20,000 sq. ft. LEED silver certified facility and adjacent five-acre training track will be located on the northeast section of EIA between RedTail Landing Golf Course and 36 Street East. As well as the fully paved track, there will be training rooms with seating for up to 90 (also available for rent), and boardroom space.

The facility will also include a driving simulation trainer, enabling the AMTA to conduct complete training for commercial drivers all in one location.
