AMTA is pleased to present the nomination forms for our 2023 Awards program. We all know someone in industry who is deserving to be recognized for their efforts in continuing to better Alberta’s commercial transportation industry.
All nominations are due Tuesday, February 14 at NOON

Safety Person of the Year
For the Alberta Motor Transport Association, safety in industry is paramount. Safety Person of the Year exemplifies an individual not only accountable to the safety of their fellow employees but the safety of the company they represent.
Historical Award
Throughout its 85 years, AMTA has recognized individuals with the Historical Award. The award is symbolic of one’s contribution to bettering the commercial transportation industry while continuing to share valuable input on industry growth.
Supplier Award
The Supplier Award is presented annually to an individual who makes demonstrable and consistent efforts to serve AMTA and its members.
Friend to Industry Award
The Friend to Industry Award recognizes individuals, who, while not directly involved with the commercial transportation industry, provide guidance and support in helping AMTA, and its members realize their goals and dreams.
AMTA 2023 Excellence in Member Service Award
The AMTA – Excellence in Member Service recognizes and celebrates AMTA employees – nominated by AMTA Members – who have made a significant contribution through a commitment to service provided to membership in the past year.
