Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) and the Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) have received grant funding from the Province of Alberta’s Ministry of Transportation and Economic Corridors (TEC) to develop training courses for Class 1 truck drivers. This includes English language proficiency training and practical skills training to improve safety and efficiency for new and inexperienced drivers.
