The Alberta Student Transportation Advisory Council (ASTAC)
On Saturday, June 6, 63 school bus drivers from across Alberta gathered at AMTA’s Edmonton location for the 43rd annual Alberta Student Transportation Advisory Council (ASTAC) Rodeo
Drivers are challenged on a course designed to test precision, safety, and knowledge that every school bus driver must possess.
The 2026 winners are:
Conventional Bus
- 1st Place: Lori Whitlow – Chinooks Edge School Division
- 2nd Place: Arnold Biegeman – Chinooks Edge School Division
- 3rd Place: Pascale Savoie – First Student Grande Prairie
Small Bus
- 1st Place: Kimberly Doyle – Southland Calgary
- 2nd Place: Christie Buchholtz – First Student Edmonton
- 3rd Place: Justine Malier – First Student Grande Prairie
Team Award
