Course Description

The Self-Evaluator Certification/Recertification (SECOR) course is mandatory for small companies (10 employees or less) looking to achieve a COR certification. The course reviews the benefits of COR and the process of evaluating a health and safety management system at a small organization in the context of both OHS and NSC-related legislation. The course material also covers basic auditing theory required to conduct a self-evaluation.

Delivery Format

Delivery time:  Half day (3.5 hours)

Instructor led virtual classroom: Join AMTA’s instructor and other course participants in training from the comfort of your home or office.  Instructor led virtual classroom courses are delivered through the Teams app.

In-person classroom: AMTA will schedule in person classroom courses on demand.  A minimum of 8 participants are required.  Please email training@amta.ca if you’d like to have your name added to a wait list.  Include the name of the course(s) that you’d like to attend in your email.  As soon as there are enough participants, an in-person classroom will be scheduled.
