Course Description

Please note this is also the course designated for the COR Auditor Recertification.

This two-day course is designed for large employers who have completed the Health and Safety System Building (HSSB) course and wish to obtain COR Auditor Status. COR auditing carries on from Fundamentals of Auditing and specifically focuses on the COR audit process. This course examines the requirements of a COR auditor and outlines the steps of the COR audit process.

For Distance Learning Classes: You will receive an email a few days prior to your course with an invitation to the training and instructions on how to access your material. Please note that distance learning is still Instructor led and you will be required to actively participate.

Important Information

The Student Certification Audit must be completed within 90 days of the first day in class to receive COR Auditor certification. You must be employed within a company that has given you permission to use them for your Student Audit.

You are required to download the Auditing Tool prior to the class. Please bring a laptop loaded with the tool to class.

The Audit Tool is also required to complete your Student Audit. The Audit Tool can be downloaded here https://auditsoft.co/ for $125.00 plus GST. Please note that the Audit Tool is not currently supported by MAC.

Computer Requirements for Students

  • 2.0 GHz with 4.0 GB RAM
  • Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge, the latest version of Google Chrome or the latest version of Firefox
  • Webcam
  • Microphone
  • Speakers / Headphones / Ear Buds
  • Ethernet cable internet recommended (wifi if ethernet not available)
  • Internet connection will need to support a minimum of 50-100 mbs download speed and 15-25 mbs upload speed however personal network speed may vary (speedtest.net)

Tablets have not been tested and may not be compatible.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Course fees will be refunded upon request until ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled class. A $200 administrative fee will be applied to refund requests received with less than seven (7) business days to the scheduled class. No refunds are issued as of the scheduled class start date.
Cancellation Fee: $200.00; applied 7 day(s) before course start date.
