Canada Introduces Mandatory Provision of Menstrual Products in the Workplace
As of December 15, 2023, employers will be obligated to make clean and hygienic tampons and menstrual pads readily available to all employees at no cost. This proactive measure recognizes menstrual products as essential as toilet paper and soap, acknowledging their importance in maintaining the health and dignity of those who menstruate.

October 2023, Edmonton, AB – last week, AMTA was thrilled to attend Edmonton Region Hydrogen HUB’s State of the Province Hydrogen Luncheon to celebrate Alberta’s hydrogen economy, and it was an incredible event!
Our very own Terri Johnson, manager of Industry Advancement, spoke on AMTA’s actions in our province’s hydrogen economy and our collaboration with our incredible partners.
