After working for two years with local companies- Tim, who is not one to be content with routine made the decision to move to Alberta where he was hired by Cadillac Express, and with this move came the challenges that he sought.
Tim can handle loads from pin-to-pin hook-up as well as 40-wheeler over-dimensional loads. Tim does not shy away from difficult loads or situations. He loves the ice roads and the mine mountain challenges. He thrives on new experiences and is often the go-to person for our customers to assist with complex loads and routes. He is skilled at operating heavy equipment and the contractors appreciate this. Tim loves flatbed work.
Tim takes the time to coach new drivers and provide them with experiences and knowledge that will be a valued asset in their trucking career. His years of experience with mechanical issues and repairs have made him a resource of information for many of his trucking associates. His friends do not hesitate to contact Tim for help, as he will always do his best to help resolve the situation.
October 2018 in a competition sponsored by Petro Canda, six drivers from across Canada were selected for the recognition of Hats Off to Great Drivers. Tim was one of the winners. He received a $1,000 fuel card, and national recognition as his story and photo were displayed on the pumper toppers at the cardlocks across Canada.
It should be apparent that Tim loves to drive, and he does it well. He is claim-free and accident-free for his driving career spanning 51 years. From his start with a toy steering wheel- to presently driving those semis and race cars - Tim has pursued his passion and he will continue on with his hand on the steering wheel and a finish line in his sights.
