Appeals Commission Notice
The Appeals Commission office continues to operate, but as of March 16, 2020, in-person hearings have been postponed and the Calgary and Edmonton offices have been closed to external visitors.
If you have an in-person hearing scheduled, the office will contact you with options to proceed. The office will continue to accept all forms, submissions and documents by fax at 780-412-8701 or 403-508-8822 or via email at Samantha.Bougerolle@gov.ab.ca. Please note that as of March 23 we no longer can accept or send physical mail.
In today’s speech from the Premier, the Alberta Government stated a number of WCB premium deferrals. Click here for a WCB fact sheet outlining premium relief for employers.
To minimize traffic at the WCB Edmonton and Calgary offices, they are restricting visitors to the buildings with the exception of those who have pre-arranged cheque pick-ups, independent medical examination appointments or permanent clinical impairment appointments. Millard Treatment Centre has postponed all services with the exception of clinical assessments. Clients impacted by these changes will be contacted by WCB directly.
