Real Durand

Real currently works at Sokil Transportation as a Fleet Manager. He has 31 years of experience with a leading North American and international intermodal logistics carrier. He also serves on the Executive as Past Chair and Employee Misclassification Working Group. In the past, he has served as a  Terminal Manager for two facilities in Calgary and managed the Equipment Readiness Team. Throughout his career, he had held several positions within the company. Additionally, he owned his own trucking company and worked for two other firms specializing in over-dimensional loads.

Real is also the President of the Transport Industrial Board. Beyond his professional endeavors, he serves as Rector’s Warden for his church, manages the cemetery, and is a member of two Indigenous churches. He has also volunteered for the “In from the Cold” program.
