Panelists

Panelist: Hon. Tracy Allard, MLA, Grande Prairie

Tracy Allard was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Grande Prairie, on April 16, 2019. Mrs. Allard is a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services, and the following standing committees on the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund and Legislative Offices. She served as Minister of Municipal Affairs from August 25, 2020, to January 4, 2021.

Mrs. Allard currently serves on the Alberta Treasury Board and is Alberta’s representative to the Energy Council. She also serves with the Speaker as a French Parliamentarian. In partnership with her husband, Mrs. Allard has owned and operated restaurants since 1993. Active in her community, she served as a director with the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation. She was board president of the Grande Prairie Boys’ Choir and sat on the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation Capital Cabinet.

Mrs. Allard holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a certificate in disability management, both from the University of British Columbia. Mrs. Allard is a two-time recipient of a friends of education award from the Grande Prairie public school district and Le Conseil scolaire du Nord-Ouest, respectively. S

he and her husband, Serge, have three children.

Joy Martin – Transportation Compliance Coordinator,
REED Energy Group

As the Transportation Compliance Coordinator, Joy brings compliance and safety to the foreground on Reed Energy projects and has successfully worked to reduce the Carrier Profile and compliance issues to the bare minimum. She is responsible for the ongoing development, design and implementation of all Corporate Compliance and maintenance Strategies related to all NSC Commercial Vehicles.

Georgina Daub, Commercial Driver, Westcan Bulk
Georgina Daub is a professional driver with five years in the industry. After graduating in 2017 from Women Building Futures’ first Class 1 Driver program, she was employed by Westcan Bulk Transport (KAG Canada).

Along with moments of sheer terror, Georgina has experienced triumphs and wonderful opportunities for professional and personal development.

Cecilia Reaburn joined the Trucking HR Canada team as the Marketing and Communications Manager. She is passionate about community building and advocating for women who are working in male-dominated spaces.

Before joining the THRC team, Cecilia worked with the skilled trades community, advocating for apprentices, women, and other equity-deserving groups.
