If you do not receive a link within a few minutes of registering\, please contact marcom@amta.ca. \nSpeaker Bios \nTim Morrison\, Director\, Government Relations\, Western\, IBC\nBorn\, raised\, and educated in Thunder Bay\, Tim moved to Edmonton in the late 1990s with eyes on building a future in Alberta – like so many other people in the province today. After working in the agriculture sector for a few years\, he went back to school in Edmonton and eventually landed a job in Alberta Environment. From there\, he’s had roles in government across Western Canada\, including the BC government and Calgary Health Region.\nIn 2007\, Tim was hired as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure\, and for the next seven years\, proudly served four different Ministers in six different departments. In 2014\, he left government to become a full-time consultant for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and also worked part-time for 13 Ways\, a consulting agency focused on rural community building. Tim joined IBC in 2017 as the Director of Government Relations for the Western region. \nSean MacLachlan\, Partner\, Calgary\, Commercial Litigation\, MLT Aikins LLP \nSean MacLachlan practises in the areas of corporate\, mergers and acquisitions\, and transportation law. With a proven track record in major mid-market transactions\, he has led more than 50 transportation-specific deals ranging from $5 million to $190 million\, supporting both buyers and sellers. He also regularly advises carriers on operational matters\, having negotiated and drafted both domestic and cross-border agreements\, including carrier/shipper\, carrier/contractor\, and carrier/broker contracts (among others). He has supported the development of numerous governance policies and regulatory matters. In addition to his practice\, Sean is a Director of the Transportation Connection Club\, a not-for-profit social networking club for carriers and suppliers in the motor transportation industry in the greater Calgary area\, and has authored numerous educational modules on contract law in the trucking industry for supply chain industry groups. Placing practical legal solutions and open communication at the forefront\, Sean emphasizes long-term client relationships. He helps businesses in the transportation industry build strong foundations\, navigate complex transactions\, and secure the resources necessary for growth. \nErika Carrasco\, Partner\, Calgary\, Commercial Litigation\, MLT Aikins LLP\nErika is known for her strong advocacy skills in all aspects of corporate and commercial litigation\, across all industries.\nErika’s experience in construction\, energy\, technology\, transportation\, and insurance brings with it in-depth knowledge and experience relating to a variety of specialized regulatory and statutory schemes impacting these industries.\nWith a deep understanding of how litigation risk can impact a business\, she provides proactive advice to avoid exposure and future disputes while also delivering strong results for her clients in the courtroom. She has achieved success at all court levels in Alberta.\nErika’s clients include trucking\, rail\, and aviation (including drones and advanced air mobility) businesses for whom she provides advice and representation relating to freight disputes\, safety and regulatory compliance\, cargo loss claims\, and insurance issues. \nGanesh Srinivasan\, Fleet Account Executive\, Cummins Inc\nGanesh Srinivasan is a Fleet Account Executive at Cummins Inc.\, where he supports trucking fleets in evaluating powertrain options\, navigating evolving emissions regulations\, and adopting advanced technologies with a strong customer‑centric approach.\nHis expertise spans strategic account management and solution-oriented customer engagement\, strengthened by international experience and formal training in marketing and mechanical engineering.\nWhen he is not supporting the industry\, Ganesh channels his inner Batman while passionately following cricket and never missing a Formula 1 race weekend.
