His experience spans road, rail, and marine transportation, providing him with a broad understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Alberta’s transportation industry. Matt currently serves as Director, HSE and Operational Risk with Arrow Transportation Systems Inc., where he provides leadership and oversight for safety, risk, compliance, and insurance programs across a diverse transportation network. Working closely with executive leadership, he helps guide strategic decisions that support operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and long-term organizational success.
Over more than 15 years in the transportation industry, Matt has built experience from the ground up, beginning in operations before progressing into health and safety leadership and enterprise risk management. This progression has given him a practical understanding of transportation operations and the challenges faced by carriers, drivers, and industry stakeholders.
