The City of Edmonton is currently updating its Goods Movement Strategy. This essential strategy guides the planning, organization, and operation of goods transportation throughout the city. The update aims to modernize the network for a future population of two million, integrating new technologies to ensure Edmonton remains an effective and sustainable logistics hub.
Get Involved: Virtual Workshops
Following technical studies and initial evaluations, the City has developed a draft conceptual truck route map and policy framework that will guide the Strategy update.
We invite you to participate in one of the following upcoming virtual workshops to share your thoughts on these documents:
- Friday, June 5, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Monday, June 8, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Please fill out this form if you are interested and able to participate in the workshop. Please RSVP by May 20, 2026.
Workshops will be held via Google Meet, requiring a compatible device with the internet and a microphone to participate. Attendees will receive a detailed agenda and draft materials for review prior to the session. Feedback that is received will be used to advise on the further development of the policies and conceptual truck route map.
