Webinar: Speed Limiters - What Carriers Need to Know
Speed Limiters will be mandatory for all carriers operating in
Ontario on January 1, 2009; Don’t miss the opportunity to hear
from both OPP and Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation on the
policy, applicable vehicles, roll out strategy, and enforcement.
There will be an opportunity to ask your questions and
get answers from the experts.
As this policy impacts all carriers entering into the province of Ontario, AMTA members may have interest in this webinar. Consequently, AMTA will coordinate the registration of members interested in participating in this Webinar. About this Seminar – Ontario’s Ministry of Transportation and Ontario Provincial Police will be on hand to discuss the upcoming legislated requirements for speed limiters on trucks in Ontario, and how carriers can implement best practices mitigate risk of enforcement action. It will also provide carriers with an opportunity to have their questions answered. Also attached you will find instructions on how to participate in a webinar.
